I first met David Graham, quite by chance, in Namibia on a leopard hunt. I have now taken five animals with David in Texas: three of which were fantastic and one which was truly spectacular. Simply stated, I am not a "name" hunter. Nevertheless, with each hunt I have received nothing short of the best service and treatment possible. There are three primary reasons why I continue to hunt with David and George.
Integrity. My last hunt with David was for Markhor. The price for the hunt was agreed upon before I left home. Long story short, because of David’s suggestion that I not shoot a representative animal the first evening, the next morning I was blessed to take what will likely be either the new number one or number two Markhor. What’s the message here? Well, after measuring that spectacular animal, the price did not change!
Credibility. On several occasions, David has called me off shots with the words "don’t shoot, we can do better". In every instance his words proved to be true: we did do better; and in one instance; spectacularly better. David has proven himself "worthy to be believed" when it comes to judging animals.
Honesty. Simply stated, David and George do what they promise. They are reliable, dependable and truly do place a very high priority on every client’s goals and interests.
With that said, they also do an excellent job of managing expectations. If a particular animal, or more usually, a particular size animal is sought which they cannot currently locate, they will tell you. And they will tell you over the phone, not upon your arrival.
Time is a very precious commodity. The decisions we make concerning whom we choose to hunt with are very important, as they almost always represent serious time commitments. I recommend the services provided by David and George heartily and without hesitation. Based upon my experience, whether it be your first hunt or your twentieth, whether you are seeking a blackbuck or a bongo, your expectations will not only be met; they will be exceeded.
Respectfully,
Darryl G. Cleary
